Graduate Programs in
Mathematics and Statistics

The University of Toledo Department of Mathematics offers both a doctoral program (PhD) and master's programs (MA and MS) in mathematics (with concentrations in the areas of pure mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics). The Department is housed in the southeast corner of University Hall on the UT Main Campus and includes approximately thirty full-time faculty and forty graduate students. Students (most of whom are supported by Teaching Assistantships) study in a friendly, informal environment with small classes and an approachable and active research faculty.
